Mayor's prayer Breakfast
CITRUS CENTER KIWANIS - MAYOR'S PRAYER BREAKFAST
This important annual May event, held in conjunction with National Day of Prayer, brings together local community members and organizations as well as the City of Lakeland Mayor. The Mayor's Prayer Breakfast includes a local religious speaker, an address by the Mayor, and a special time when 400 guests join together in prayer for our City and its leadership.
Citrus Center Kiwanis Club is continuing our tradition of putting our "faith in action." Should the table sponsorship funds collected exceed the costs for the Lakeland Mayor's Prayer Breakfast, a contribution will be made to the local not-for-profit organizations that service and support the children in our community. Let us pray that, in addition to gathering with our friends in a morning of prayer, we can help our youth in the community become great citizens and future leaders.
